My ceramic reliefs are inspired by the natural coastline that surrounds me every day, as well as by my graphic-style and minimalist design approach, which I have pursued for almost 30 years.
I‘m capturing the sea, the waves, and the colors of this coast in reliefs and combine the appropriate glazes that reflect the colorspectrum to complement them.
Each piece stands alone and carries within it the narrative of the relationship between the tides, the sea, the sun, and the wind. A tile alone or being combined together, they all tell a short story that reflects my admiration for this natural coastline.
