Isabelle Jozina Fischer is a visual designer for more than two decades, born and educated in Basel, Switzerland. After living and working in Munich for 15 years, she moved to the south of Spain, to Conil de la Frontera, to fulfill her desire to live with nature and, above all, near the sea.
"mira mira" is a common spanish expression to ask to have a closer look.
Since Isabelle has been living and working in Spain, this lively expression has grown very dear to her. To live here invites her to be playful in her work and to rediscover herself on the creative journey, handcrafting with different materials such as ceramics and prints on paper.
What exites her the most is the process of using ceramics to counteract her desire for perfection, clean lines an imagination how the object should be, to heal herself and to offer opportunities to the unpredictable and to accept life and creations as it comes to her.
"As we thrive for perfection, we forget our origins and that nature and the organic offer us more fulfillment."
All her designs arises from a desire to visually implement inner and outher topics that moves her and to find a dialogue within you. She creates all products and crafts in a mindful process, therefore she consciously chose the journey of handbuilding.
In her service based works for her clients as a graphic designer she pursues a clear, direct and harmonious design and trusts the intuitive process of creating.
She creates individual, classic graphics with modern accents combined with a sensitive flair for typography. To think and work conceptually is her strength and passion! Her work is characterized by reliability and high aesthetics.
She has been working for prestigious editorials and for private clients in Munich / Germany, Zurich and Basel / Switzerland.
